Я думаю, что школа сильно изменится.
Школа будущего представляется мне как большое и светлое здание,
окруженное парком. Вместо раздевалки у каждого ученика будет свой
шкафчик, а вместо учебников – компьютеры и планшеты. В столовой будут
работать роботы: повара и официанты. Меню будет составлено по вкусовым
предпочтениям каждого ученика. В классах вместо доски электронная
интерактивная доска с сенсорным управлением. Ученики будут сидеть на
удобных рабочих местах.
Иногда уроки проводятся вне школы. Например, биологию можно будет

Я думаю, что в школе будущего будут оценки не только те, которые ставят
учителя, но и ученики тоже будут оценивать друг друга. Ребята будут
приходить на конференции и рассказывать о своих успехах и достижениях в
изучении предмета, о сделанных научных проектах.
Перемены будут проходить весело, ведь в школе много всего интересного,
каждый найдет себе занятие по душе. В рекреации стоят мягкие диваны и
кресла, можно выйти на улицу и провести время на свежем воздухе, играя с
одноклассниками в подвижные игры.
Занятия в школе будут необязательными. Но кто не будет ходить в такую
замечательную школу? Ее будут посещать все.

This is my last year at school and my teachers say it"s going to be a pretty stressful year and a lot depends on how well I do. I should make a decision what to do by the end of this year. Топик School of the Future

My name is Christine. I’m fifteen years old. I’m a pupil of a state secondary school. At the moment I’m studying in the 9th form. In a few years I’ll finish the school and I’m planning to enter a university.

I wonder what the school of the future will be like. I think it will change a lot for the better. For example, at the moment my school is situated in quite an old building, but our principal says that in the nearest future some renovations will take place. So I believe that in two or three years the school will look much better and newer. Another thing I would change in my school is the size of the rooms. Our group consists of twenty-three pupils and some classrooms are so small that there is hardly enough space for all of us. So I’d like the classrooms to be larger and lighter.

We have recently started learning programming and there is a new well-equipped classroom for this subject. We love attending programming lessons, but sometimes there aren’t enough computers for everyone. Besides they are quite big and occupy lots of space in the room. I’m sure that in the future everybody will have a personal computer and the school will buy more modern technology for its pupils.

We also enjoy PE (Physical Education) but I’d like those lessons to become more interesting. We only play in the schoolyard and do some exercises. I think that swimming lessons in summer and skiing in winter would be a good idea. I hope that some changes will take place before I finish school.

I am a pupil of the 11-th form, I study at school number 9. I would like to tell your about our school life.

I go to school five days a week. Our classes start at 8 o"clock a. m. and last till 3 o"clock p.m. So we have 6 or 7 lessons a day. We study many different subjects: Russian, English, French, literatures, history, geography, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, programming and computer sciences.

Languages, literature and history are my favourite subjects. I make good marks in these subjects. The school year is divided into four terms, called quarters. It begins on the 1st of September known as a Day of knowledge and finishes in May.

Each quarter is followed by holidays. Every pupil has a day-book where the teachers put down the marks, that pupil has earned at the class. During the classes pupils are to answer the teacher"s questions, do some exercises, write sentences, count, read.

The pupils are often called to the blackboard. After every lesson the teachers give us home assignment. At the next lesson the teachers check them up. To do good at school one should make home assignments regularly, be active at the lessons and spend at least two-three hours every day studying.

I like studying. My favourite proverb is "Live and learn".
